Duvet Buying Guide

Style Guide

When choosing a duvet, we have a few different styles to offer you. The style refers to the way the duvet is stitched giving each style unique features.

Channel Style

Channel Style Duvet
  • Each channel is filled with a weighed amount of filling. The amount depends on the type of filling and TOG value of the duvet.
  • The channels are sewn with a baffle wall which prevents cold-spots forming along the seam-lines. This also allows for maximum lofting / puffiness.
  • The channel stitching does allow for vertical movement inside the duvet. This is nice if you need to "thin out" the top during Summer.
  • This is a good option for children as channels can be added on as they grow.

Box-Stitch Style

Box-Stitch Duvet
  • Each box is filled with a weighed amount of filling. The amount depends on the type of filling and TOG value of the duvet.
  • The boxes are sewn with a baffle wall which prevents cold-spots forming along the seam-lines. This also allows for maximum lofting / puffiness.
  • The box stitching prevents the down from moving around inside the duvet, so it is always neat.  Just a shake and your bed is made!

Four Seasons Style

Four Seasons Duvet
  • The Four Seasons duvet is made up of TWO Box-Stitch Duvets. One Summer Weight and One Autumn/Spring weight.
  • Use them clipped together together to make up a lovely warm Winter weight duvet or use them apart as the seasons change.
  • This is a great option for people that feel the heat during Summer.
  • The duvet is supplied with a cotton tog-bag to store the one half of the duvet when not in use.
